Becky Lindahl is a first-chair trial lawyer at the Chicago-based law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Becky is the local team leader of the Charlotte litigation department of Katten, and national team leader of the Firm’s eDiscovery practice. Becky focuses on high-stakes litigation in the semiconductor and financial services industries. She is experienced in federal bench and jury trials, as well as AAA, JAMS, and ICC arbitration.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Becky graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology in 2003, and achieved her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2006. After graduation from law school and before joining Katten, Becky clerked for the Honorable Catharine Aron in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
Becky has been honored during her career by Charlotte Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, Charlotte Business Journal’s Women in Business, The Mecklenburg Times 50 Most Influential Women, Lawyers Weekly Leaders in the Law, and Lawyers Weekly Women of Justice. Becky has also been named a SuperLawyers Rising Star every year since 2014, and to the Benchmark Litigation Under 40 Hotlist in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Becky has lived in Charlotte since 2007, and she and her family prioritize giving back to the Charlotte community. She is a current board member of Safe Alliance, and former board member of Hospitality House of Charlotte and CREW Charlotte. Becky lives in First Ward with her husband Erik and daughter Ava.
