This exciting tournament fundraiser gives middle school basketball teams the opportunity to get further exposure to the game and strive to be the last team standing. The event is open to public and private schools in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties. There are girls' and boys' divisions.

2023 Tournament Winners
The inaugural Muggsy Bogues Middle School Basketball Tournament fundraiser was held in February 2023. And what a hit it was! We had 37 teams, for a total of 439 players, participating for the winning titles.

Boys Division:
East: Jay M. Robinson Middle School
North: Charlotte Country Day School
West: Alexander Graham Middle School
Girls Division:
East: Southwest Middle School
West: Randolph Middle School
This new signature fundraising event, along with the Muggsy Bogues Celebrity Golf Classic, supports the mission of the MBFF, allowing for increased outreach into the community through our Labor of Love food distribution events and our two skilled trades scholarship programs offered at Central Piedmont Community College.
