LaWanda Blair-Foster
LaWanda Blair-Foster is a Lead Business Execution Consultant for Wells Fargo’s Sales Practice & Conduct Initiatives Office. LaWanda has been with Wells Fargo since 2019 and, in her role, she serves as an advisor for executive leadership and provides direction to enterprise-wide cross functional teams around regulatory matters. Over the course of her professional career, LaWanda has held various leadership roles with other prestigious companies in Charlotte, NC, such as GMAC, Amerisource Bergen and the Department of Commerce where she served as a Community Partnership Specialist for the 2020 Census. LaWanda’s true passion lies in giving back to the communities in which she serves.
LaWanda served on the Say Yes to Bonds Committee in Charlotte, as Director of Community Relations for the NBMBAA Charlotte Chapter and is also a member of Leadership Charlotte Class 43, a nationally recognized leadership program for emerging and existing leaders in the city of Charlotte focusing on increasing community knowledge, civic networks, and service to the community.
In addition to her external advocacy work, LaWanda remains committed to giving back through charitable work within her professional life as well. Currently, LaWanda serves as Co-Lead for Wells Fargo’s Women’s Employee Resource Network’s Mentoring Program, planning committee for Wells Fargo Joint Employee Resource Network’s “Disparities in Healthcare” and serves as a COO DE&I Champion.
LaWanda attended Howard University, is a graduate of LaSalle University with a bachelor’s in Business Administration/ Marketing and has a Master of Arts Degree in Global Management. LaWanda is also a certified project management professional (PMP). LaWanda is the proud mother of two girls, Blair and Logan Foster. Blair is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and entrepreneur/ owner of Better Be Blair’s online bakery. Logan is a Junior at Central Cabarrus High School. LaWanda is a proud military Brat and Philadelphia native who relocated to Charlotte in 2005.
