Kenya Parrish
Kenya Parrish is a Structured Finance attorney at K&L Gates LLP. She focuses her practice on loan servicing regularly representing servicers of commercial mortgage-backed securities. She has experience representing master servicers and special servicers in connection with assumptions, modifications, consents, and other servicing issues. She also has experience with cash management structuring, defaults, and loan workouts.
Kenya is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Spanish. After graduating from Wake Forest, Kenya worked for two years as an English teacher in Malaga, Spain. Upon her return from Spain, Kenya received a Master’s degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University. She then worked in sponsorship for the NBA’s Washington Wizards, the NHL’s Washington Capitals, and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics.
Following her career in professional sports, Kenya attended law school at Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, Kenya became the first African American person to serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Wake Forest Law Review.
