Danny Guise is a professional golfer with a passion for helping young people through sports. He has lived in the Charlotte area since 2017, but he was born and raised in Greenwich, Conn., and later Port Chester, N.Y. Danny’s love of sports started at an early age, playing multiple youth sports but eventually settling on golf and basketball as his two favorites. Danny amassed a total of 55 wins on various regional and national junior golf tours.

In high school, Danny played four years of varsity golf and four years of varsity basketball. In golf, he led Greenwich High School to back-to-back undefeated regular seasons (21-0) in 2012 and 2013 as well as FCIAC Conference Championships those same years and the 2012 CIAC state championship. Greenwich High lost just two matches during his four-year career. In 2012, he was named the Connecticut State High School Player of the Year. In addition to his varsity golf and basketball careers, Danny was the starting shooting guard for United Sons & Daughters, an elite AAU basketball Team that made four appearances in the AAU National Championships, including a run to the Final Four in 2010 where the team finished third. Danny’s three-point shooting prowess and the fact he always wore #3 on his jersey (just like his favorite player, former Syracuse star Gerry McNamara) prompted his teammates to start calling him DG3, a nickname that has stuck to this day.

During his time at Wake Forest University, he was first or second on the team in virtually every statistical category, tying the freshman school record for rounds of even par or better with 17. Danny helped lead Wake to three team tournament victories in 2014-15, the first time since 2005-06 that Wake won three tournaments in a season and the first time since 2002 that Wake won back-to-back tournaments. Individually he was named to the All-Region team in 2015.

Danny turned pro in 2017 and plays out of TPC Piper Glen. During his pro career, he has competed on the G Pro Tour, the Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA Tour. So far, Danny has made eight starts on the Korn Ferry Tour (2021 Wichita Open, 2021 Memorial Health Championship, 2022 Price Cutter Championship, 2023 Hometown Lenders Championship, 2023 Compliance Solutions Championship, 2024 LECOM Championship, 2024 Price Cutter Championship and 2024 NV5 Invitational). In addition, he has made five starts on the PGA Tour (2023 Sony Open in Hawaii, 2023 Valspar Championship, 2023 Wells Fargo Championship, 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship and 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic).

Throughout his college and pro careers, Danny has enjoyed giving back through youth camps and clinics and believes strongly in the life lessons young people learn by pursuing goals in sports.
